Join us for a special workshop with Katie Bird, the wonderful Maria in Opera North's 'The Sound Of Music' production in 2026.

Katie will do a warm up with the children & talk to them about performing, it will be a mini masterclass - where children will sing a short solo if you wish (this can be a song of your choice, or a choir song or similar). This workshop will be more group based & they may learn a group song together. This is for ages 5-8 years old. This is a great opportunity to meet Katie & gain some insight into how to improve your vocal technique & performance skills.
