Join us for a special workshop with Katie Bird, the wonderful Maria in Opera North's 'The Sound Of Music' production in 2026.

Katie will do a warm up with the children & talk to them about performing, it will be a mini masterclass - where children will sing a short solo if you wish (this can be a song of your choice, or a choir song or similar). The children will watch each other perform and listen to feedback, this will help develop learning on different genres. You will sing your song, listen to feedback and then perform your song again. This is for ages 9-12 years old. This is a great opportunity to meet Katie & gain some insight into how to improve your vocal technique & performance skills.
